  Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company commissions new berth crane

  

  The second berth crane STS BOXER 5000 Post Panamax class produced by KOCKS Krane (Germany) was put into operation at Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company, the company announced.
  
  The first similar crane was put into operation in mid September 2013. Both cranes were ordered by VSC in the implementation of the investment program for the development of production capacity. Upon completion of the commissioning trials, technical readiness of the new equipment was confirmed by the decision of Rostechnadzor.
  
  Both STS BOXER 5000 Post Panamax class cranes produced by KOCKS Krane are set at 6th and 7th berths of VSC LLC. Maximum height from the rail head to the edge of the spreader - 35.0 meters , the height of the sea console  - 48 m , nominal capacity - 60 tonnes, capacity under the hook suspension (hard) - 70 tonnes.

   
  Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company LLC is the largest container terminal in the Far East Region of the Russian Federation. It operates on the territory of Vostochny Port. VSC is a part of Global Ports group. The terminal’s total capacity is 550,000 TEUs.
