Flot NMTP (part of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group) plans to raise bunker sales by 3% to 159,340 t in 2009 owing to customers’ base expansion, the company states according to Interfax.
In 2008, Flot NMTP sold 155,180 tonnes of fuel including 135,070 tonnes of heavy fuel oil and 19,930 tonnes of diesel fuel. Bunkering accounted for 55% of the company’s annual proceeds, tugging - 38%.
Flot NMTP OJSC currently operates 68 vessels including 27 tugboats, seven bunkering vessels, one fire-fighting vessel, a number of small passenger vessels and supply vessels as well as other specialized vessels. Flot NMTP takes on lease 15 vessels from RosMorPort FSUE and 44 vessels from NMTP. The company also operates 9 own vessels.
