Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" welcomes 5 cruise ships (photo)

On September 5, 2014, Passenger Port  of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" welcomed 5 cruise ships (photo). According to the company’s press center, the ships delivered 8,800 passengers.

M/S Royal Princess (owned by Carnival Corporation) which moored at the seventh berth brought 3,600 passengers. It is the eleventh and the last call in the navigation period of 2014.

M/S Seven Seas Voyager (Prestige Cruise Holdings Inc.) moored at the third berth. From the beginning of the port operation in 2008, the ship called 35 times at the Marine Façade.

Besides, the port welcomed M/S Oriana (Carnival Corporation), M/S Nautica (Prestige Cruise Holdings Inc.) and M/S Empress (Pullmantur Cruises).

JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 311 m long and with a draft of up to 9 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay wall length – 2,171.06 m.
