Offshore Marintec Russia to host top players of the global energy and shipbuilding market
The International Specialised Offshore Exhibition & Conference Offshore Marintec Russia dedicated to the Arctic continental shelf infrastructure development will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, October 7-10. The trade fair venue: Pavilion 1, ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event organizer Restec said in a press release.
The trade show is organised under authority of the Government of the Russian Federation. Offshore Marintec Russia serves as a new professional venue for demonstration of recent technical solutions in all aspects of exploitation of the Russian offshore deposits. The Exhibition and Conference will encompass the most relevant topics regarding development of marine, transport, energy and technological infrastructure of the continental shelf.
This year event will be focused on development of a modern fleet, promising technologies and equipment for development of top-priority oil and gas projects. The Conference will feature over 120 speeches. October 8 will highlight the main plenary session ‘Strategic goals and priorities of sustainable development of the Arctic Region’.
More than 200 companies will participate in the event. These are such companies as Gazprom, Gazprom Dobycha Shelf, Gazprom Neft-Sakhalin, Lukoil, Sevmash, Gazprom Neft Shelf, FMC Technologies, Schlumberger, Gazflot, Krylov State Research Centre, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Prometey Central Research Institute of Structural Materials, Shtokman Development AG and the range of other companies presenting equipment, engineering and maintenance services for Russian offshore shipbuilding. The event will host foreign participants from Сhina, Korea, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Norway.
Thanks to a high-level governmental support, the event bears special importance at the federal level. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin took charge of the Organising Committee, responsible for coordination and preparation of Offshore Marintec Russia. The Organising Committee will be co-chaired by Artur Chilingarov, Academician Evgeny Velikhov, and Academician Aleksei Kontorovich. The Organising Committee consists of such members as Andrei Dutov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Kirill Molodtsov, Deputy Minister Ministry of Energy and top managers of Russian industrial and energy enterprises.
