Nevsky Shipyard took part in X International Exhibition and Scientific Conference on Hydroaviation “GIDROAVIASALON 2014” which took place on the shore of the Gelendzhik bay, on the premises of Beriev Hydroaviation test base and the Airport of Gelendzhik from 4 to 7 September, the company said in its press release.
The main goal of the exhibition is to demonstrate water- and ship-based aviation, the prospects of its development and applications for passenger and cargo transportation, tourism, patrol, search-and-rescue sea operations, rendering aid in case of emergencies and ecological disasters.
The officials of the Government and the RF President administration, the Ministry of Defense, Russian Federation Ministry of Emergencies, Arial Forest protection, leading aerospace enterprises - traditionally took part in the exhibition, along with recognized representatives of military attachés and trade agencies of foreign states.
Every day the booth of Nevsky Shipyard was visited by a big number of registered participants as well as by visitors of the exhibition who showed great interest in the Shipyard activities. The visitors could get the information about the principal areas of the Shipyard’s business; get answers to questions of interest and negotiate with the representatives and the management of Nevsky Shipyard.
Nevsky Shipyard’s specialists also took part in the conference. On September 5th, 2014, the round table conference about “Advantages of berthing complexes with helicopter deck using for transport infrastructure development” took place as part of the congress programme of Xth International exhibition “GIDROAVIASALON 2014”. It was organized by Nevsky Shipyard and Russian Helicopter Systems.
Andrey Kapitanov, business development director, told about the current problems of megalopolises transport infrastructure development, the level of State Transport Development Programme to 2016, advantages of berthing complexes with helicopter deck using and necessity of infrastructure development for complexes installation and the Shipyard experience in construction of berthing complexes with helicopter deck.
More than 200 companies from Russia, Ukraine, China, France, India and other countries took part in the exhibition “GIDROAVIASALON 2014”.
