An Agreement of Intent to build an international sea terminal for servicing of cruise and freight/passenger ships in Pionersky (Kaliningrad Region) was signed in Sochi on September 19, 2014, within the framework of the international economic forum Sochi-2014, FSUE Rosmorport says.
The document was signed by Rosmorport Director General Andrei Tarasenko, Kaliningrad Region Governor Nikolai Tsukanov and President of MSC Cruises and Grandi Navi Veloci Roberto Martinoli.
The Agreement is supposed to ensure the cooperation of the parties in the process of designing, construction and operation of the terminal as well as to further strengthen their relationship in cruise shipping. The document is said to contribute to improvement of tourist services’ quality turning the region into the attractive and popular tourist destination.
