Laky Verf launches high-speed boat of project 15MJ (photo)

High-speed boat of project 15MJ has been launched today, September 23, 2014, at Laky Verf (Shlisselburg, Leningrad region), IAA PortNews journalist reports. 

The ceremony has been attended by the head of the North-West department and state inspector of Gosmorrechnadzor Dmitry Atlashkin, head of marine department at North West Customs Authority Sergei Chaika and RS representative Eduard Yevgrafov.

Dmitry Atlashkin noted that Laky Verf manufactures high quality permanently improved product – the shipyard puts new projects into production.

“The first serial boat … have been working for 4 years under the highest load having never failed us. We have just once pained the hull,” Dmitry Atlashkin said.

According to him, from the beginning of navigation-2014 the boat of Gosmorrechnadzor’s North-West department which operates within the water area of Saint-Petersburg wrote 56 incident reports. Inspectors of the regional department patrolling the water area for 12-16 hours per day. 

“We hope to get one more boat of this type to patrol the souther part of the Ladoga lake,” Dmitry Atlashkin said.

Following the launching, the boat will undergo the mooring and sea trials and then will be exhibited in Moscow at  Interpolitech-2014 which will be held on October 21-24.

The multipurpose high-speed boat made of light-weight alloy can be used for diving, administrative, patrolling, inspecting, environmental, and general purposes within the coastal water area, large river mouth and at shallow waters of inland water ways of the Russian Federation as well as for pleasure voyages and fishing. 

The boat’s cruising range is 300 nautical miles, her stability meets the requirements of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping / State Inspection of Small Vehicles.

The keel-laying was held on the occasion of the 9-year anniversary of Laky Verf LLC.

Laky Verf is located at Nevsky Shipyard (Shlisselburg, Leningrad region) and has its own production facilities. From 2005 the company specializes in production of steel motor luxury yachts with exclusive design of the interior developed by the famous Dutch designers Guido de Groot and Frank Laupman. Since its foundation the company has built and transferred to the customers 6 yachts of 23M project. All 23.5-meter yachts successfully passed sea trials. The construction is supervised by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
