Imtech Marine reintroduces its renowned Radio Holland brand and introduces PressReader & Remote Monitoring

Imtech Marine announces to the yachting market the re ‘launch’ of the renowned Radio Holland brand and introduces PressReader and Remote Monitoring at the Monaco Yacht Show, the company said in its press release.

Radio Holland is already a well-known name in the yacht industry with the company’s history dating back nearly 100 years. With nearly 100 own offices all over the world, Radio Holland is renowned for its navigation and communication expertise.

Jan Frederik de Froe, Sales Manager Yachting at Imtech Marine/Radio Holland explains the value of the Radio Holland brand in the yachting market: “I have worked for the company for more than 10 years and have experienced part of the Radio Holland era. First of all I am happy that the Radio Holland brand is back and so are our customers. We get many positive reactions. Radio Holland has a big ‘trust’ factor for Nav/Com, IT and service. We will continue along the road we have always done, but of course, also introducing new innovations such as remote monitoring.”

Remote Monitoring Center at RotterdamRemote monitoring can be carried out on VSAT, navigation and communication, ICT/Infrastructure, electrical systems, Integrated Bridge Systems, Integrated Platform Management Systems and AV/Entertainment. Not only is remote monitoring possible on every system within the scope of supply but also on third party systems such as fuel monitoring, engines, helideck systems etc.

If a yacht has a problem when sailing around the Caribbean with the bridge for example, Imtech Marine can login and rectify the problem without causing any inconvenience and without waiting for the yacht to reach the next harbour. Most problems are already solved remotely.
And if a problem cannot be solved straight away, remote analysis ensures that engineers obtain the right parts and equipment and get them to the nearest Radio Holland station, which is convenient for the yacht owner. The company’s expert engineers are ready to achieve a ‘First Time Right’ solution.

Imtech Marine works directly for many of the top Superyacht builders in the Netherlands and Germany and installs everything from navigation and communication equipment, to full entertainment & IT systems, conventional bridges or Imtech Marine’s own fully integrated bridge UniMacs®. And it has offices in all of the major yachting centres in the South of France, Italy and Florida.
Additionally, the Dutch company does full or part refits to extend the lifetime of the yacht across the globe.
