COSCO Container Lines Co. Ltd (COSCON), Evergreen Line (EMC), Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line), MOL Liner Ltd. (MOL) Pacific International Line (PIL) today announced the restructuring of their existing Asia to South Africa services into two direct loops, COSCO said in its press release. One service will call South China, while the other loop will directly connect Central China. The newly restructured loops will further strengthen each company’s service network from Asia to South Africa, while continuing to meet increasingly diverse commercial requirements.
The jointly operated South China Loop and Central China Loop services will commence from Kaohsiung on October 9, 2014 and Shanghai on October 15, 2014 respectively.
Details of restructured Central China loop and South China loop are as follows:
South China Loop
