CSAV Group, Hapag Lloyd, Hamburg Süd, Aliança and NYK announce, that they have reached agreement to jointly operate in the trade between the East Coast of North America and Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, CSAV said in its press release.
Aiming to improve efficiency and quality of the service offered to customers, the two services separately operated by the lines will be replaced by a single string with seven 5500 TEU vessels featuring increased reefer capacity.
The new set up is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2014, subject to regulatory approval.
