Exports of Russian grain via Baltic states’ ports to grow in 2014-2015, expert says

Exports of Russian grain via Baltic states’ ports is expected to grow in 2014-2015, deputy Director of Rusagrotrans’ Strategic Marketing Department Igor Pavensky told IAA PortNews.
 
During the agricultural year 2014-2015, the ports of the Baltic Ports are likely to handle up to 1.2 mln t of export grain against 900,000 t in 2013/14, when 500,000 t was exported via Kaliningrad, 340,000 – via Liepaja and 35,000 t – via Riga. 

The expert says the political situation in the world is not likely to influence the export flows via the ports of the Black Sea.
