The LNG in Baltic Sea Ports event to be held in Stockholm from 2nd till 4th of December 2014

The LNG in Baltic Sea Ports event is a part of the LNG Conference, taking place in Stockholm, from 2nd till 4th of December, 2014. The project supported by EU. The meeting will tackle the most burning questions regarding LNG (such as LNG outlook in EU, infrastructure developments, funding possibilities for investments, LNG shipping demand) as well as will provide an exceptional networking place for the integration of the LNG BSR market.

The LNG in Baltic Sea Ports is one of the pioneering LNG initiatives, carrying out its activities since 2012. The main aim of this project is to foster a harmonised approach towards LNG bunkering infrastructure in seven Baltic ports – Aarhus, Copenhagen-Malmö, Helsingborg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn and Turku.

At the end of 2014, the LNG in Baltic Sea Ports project will not only have its final summarizing conference on-board the first Baltic LNG-driven cruise ferry Viking Grace, but also an official kick-off of its follow-up, the LNG in Baltic Sea Ports II. The European Commission has already acknowledged the initative as a one of the priority projects for European transport infrastructure development.
