Hamburg Süd has been honoured with the “Electrolux Supplier Award 2014” in the category “Global Logistics”. Presentation of the prize was held at Electrolux AB’s headquarters in Stockholm in mid-November, the company said in its press release.
Electrolux is one of the leading manufacturers of household and kitchen appliances worldwide. “With our very strong focus on Latin America, Hamburg Süd has developed into a vital component of our global supply chain, and one we have come to rely on increasingly strongly over the years,” declared Bjorn Vang Jensen, Vice President Global Logistics for Electrolux. “Hamburg Süd’s services are highly valued by our colleagues across Latin America. The award reflects our close relationship, which we hope will continue for many years to come.”
