All Russian ports except for Arctic ones to see price deregulation, official says

Federal Tariff Service of Russia has decided not to regulate prices for services related to loading/unloading/storage of cargoes, providing of berths at all ports of the Russian Federation except for those in the Arctic Basin, IAA PortNews journalist cites Serik Zhusupov, Executive Director of the Association of Commercial Sea Ports (ASOP) as saying at the meeting of the ASOP BoD dedicated to regulatory interaction between the Transport Ministry of the Russian Federation and the Association. According to the Serik Zhusupov, this decision is the first step towards exclusion of stevedoring companies from the register of natural monopolies. 

On November 4, 2014, Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Federal Law on Procedures for Foreign Investments in Business Entities of Strategic Importance for National Defence and State Security and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
