Yuzhny port’s throughput in Jan-Nov hits 43.45 mln t, exceeds annual result of 2013

In January-November 2014, all terminals of port Yuzhny (Ukraine) handled 43.45 mln t of cargo, the port’s press center says.

According to the statement, this result exceeds the port’s throughput in Jan-Dec’13 by 16,000 t. 

Yuzhny port is located at the north-western coast of the Black Sea, in ice-free Maly Adzhalyksky (Grigorievsky) estuary, 30 km from Odessa port. The port’s approach channel is 3 miles long and 18.5 meters deep. In 2012, throughput of the port’s stevedoring company Commercial Sea Port Yuzhny totaled 22.72 mln t.
