Kerch Strait service ferries carried 5,000 passengers and 1,700 vehicles

Over the past day ferries have transported through the Kerch Strait nearly 5,000 passengers and 1,700 vehicles as of 09:30 December 8, the United Transport Directorate said.

There are 20 passenger cars 150 trucks at the Port of Kavkaz and 10 cars and 20 trucks at the Port Krym waiting for embarkation, some 255 trucks - at the port of Novorossiysk, 372 trucks – at Slavyansk-on-Kuban and 124 units in the Kerch Airport.

Thanks to good weather in the strait there are four ferries, including “Jonas”, “Olympiada”, "Glykofilousa" and "Nikolai Aksenenko", cruising on the Kerch line.
