Frigate Yaroslav Mudry heads for to the Mediterranean Sea

The Neustrashimy class frigate "Yaroslav Mudry" of the Russian Baltic Fleet on December 8, 2014 departed from Oman based Port of Salalah and is bound for the Mediterranean Sea, the Baltic Fleet press office said.

During three-day stopover at the port,the Baltic Fleet frigate has replenished its food and potable water supplies, while the crew enjoyed visiting Salalah.

The Yaroslav Mudry left the Baltic Fleet main naval base in Baltiysk on August 9, 2014. The frigate has covered more than 20,000 nm during the 87-day voyage, the Spanish port of Ceuta on the Mediterranean coast of Africa, the port of Valletta in Malta, the port of Karachi, Pakistan, the port of Jakarta in Indonesia, the Malaysian port of Penang and Sri Lanka based port Colombo.
