Shipments of grain exported from Ukraine through the country's sea ports between December 1 and 7 rose week-on-week to 649,400 tonnes (534,400 tonnes), the IA APK-Inform agency data showed.
Wheat exports totaled 52,400 tonnes, corn volume reached 539,300 tonnes, barley exports – 57,700 tonnes.
The bulk of the last week's volume (166,600 tonnes of grain) was handled at Odessa Marine Trade Port (OMTP), 147,500 tonnes were handled by "Nibulon" and 130,300 tonnes were handled by "TIS".
Shipments of export grain through the Black Sea ports of Ukraine totaled 627,500 tonnes, while the ports of the Azov Sea transshipped 21,900 tonnes.
In December, the largest volume of Ukrainian grain was imported by China (159,500 tonnes), Egypt imported 98,200 tonnes and Spain – 72,500 tonnes.
