A Marshall Islands flagged bulker docked at Novorossiysk port caught fire

The Marshall Islands flagged 57,900dwt dry cargo ship M/V Melinda (YB – 2012) moored at Berth No 5 of the Port of Novorossiysk caught fire, the regional EMERCOM department in Krasnodar Krai reported.

As of now, the fire has been extinguished, no injuries were reported. The fire on board the ship was put out by a firefighting team of 15 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
