Cargo handling in seaports of Sevastopol down 62.4% to 2.15 mln t in Jan-Nov’14

In January-November 2014, cargo handling in seaports and at industrial berths of Sevastopol fell by 62.4%, year-on-year, to 2,152,600 t, statistics service of Sevastopol says.

In the reported period, Sevastopol handled 1,425,400 t of export cargo, 491,300 t of transit cargo, 137,700 t of inland traffic cargo, 12,300 t of import cargo. The number of vessels totaled 221 including 118 foreign vessels.

In November 2014, municipal water transport companies carried 572,800 passengers (+39.3%, year-on-year); in January-November – 5,564,600 passengers.
