International logistics integrator GEFCO has implemented the project on transportation of Tu-134 aircraft from Orenburg to Hahn am See (Germany), the company’s press center says.
The project customer was KUNZ GmbH aircraft equipment, German supplier of aircraft recovery equipment and aircraft wheel and brake servicing equipment. The aircraft was loaded by a crane onto a ro-ro ferry at port Saint-Petersburg and delivered to Antwerp (Belgium). Transportation by road was executed by GEFCO Benelux.
It took 10 days to deliver cargo from Orenburg to Antwerp.
