Bunker fuel prices at the port of St. Petersburg open week 52 on lower note (graph)

Average benchmark price for bunker fuel at the port of St. Petersburg fell at the beginning of the 52nd week, the PortNews' bunker prices bulletin showed.

Average price for low sulfur product IFO380 at the port of St. Petersburg lost $9.0 to $ 191.0 per metric tonne.

Average price of IFO380 HS at the port of St. Petersburg fell $10.0 to settle at $ 166.0 pmt.

Average price of IFO180 LS at the port of St. Petersburg was $ 215.0 pmt (- $ 7.0).

Average price of IFO180 HS dropped $9.0 to $ 185.0 pmt.

Average price of MGO at the port of St. Petersburg slumped by $26.0 to $496.0 pmt.

Many bunker suppliers have canceled low-sulfur product sales, doing so in the run-up to entry into force of MARPOL Annex VI regulations' on January 1, 2015, setting sulfur limit in ECAs to 0.1%.

The minimum price for heavy fuel oil 380 HS reached $ 150.0 pmt.
