According to preliminary data, Rosterminalugol OJSC handled 15,452,483.496 t of coal in January-December 2014 (+5%, year-on-year). Press center of Rosterminalugol says it is a new record of the company.
JSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Port of Ust-Luga. The terminal’s projected annual coal throughput is 8 million tons. The Company specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal. The company also provides insurance services for cargoes and property, the risks of transactions at Ust-Luga port. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters with depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able now to accommodate vessels of up to 240 m in length and 32 m in breadth. In 2013, coal exports via the terminal rose 6.9% year-over-year to 14.72 million tonnes.
