Oil price up to $54.75 in London and up to $49.57 in New York

On February 2, Brent crude for March delivery gained $1.76 to settle at $54.75 per barrel on ICE Futures Europe, Light sweet crude climbed by $1.23 to $49.57on New York Mercantile Exchange.
