Laky Verf Ltd. (Shlisselburg, Leningrad Region) has presented its new boat project 17MJ, the shipyard’s press center says.
Multi-purpose high-speed boat made of light alloy can be used for leisure, diving, administrative, patrol, inspection, environmental and general service purposes. The vessel is intended for operation in ice-free waters of the coastal areas, estuaries of major rivers including shallow waters, both at night and in daytime.
The boat can accommodate up to 12 persons in daytime and up to 6 persons at night. The boat is equipped with a state-of-the-art navigation system for safe handling (radar system, chartplotter, GPS/GLONASS, weather station, speed log, echo sounder, auto steerer, thermal camera, magnet compass etc.), innovative waterjet control system Blue ARROW, firefighting equipment, A/C and heating system (0°С to +35°С).
Besides, the vessel is fitted with a launch-and-recovery system for boats with outboard engine and with a rescue raft.
The boat is being built under the supervision of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Boat of project 17MJ was laid down at Laky Verf on November 25, 2014.
