On July 1, Passenger port of Saint Petersburg had its first full berth occupancy day in 2015 – the Port received seven ships. The six cruise ships and one ferry have brought 14 568 passengers, which is not only the record amount for this cruise season, but also from the commissioning of Passenger port of Saint Petersburg.
The ships Costa Favolosa and Costa Luminosa of Carnival Corporation & plc, MSC Orchestra of MSC Cruises, Norwegian Star of Norwegian Cruise Line, Serenade of the Seas of Royal Caribbean International and Viking Star of Viking Ocean Cruises have all visited Passenger port of Saint Petersburg during their Baltic Sea cruises.
These six vessels are already committed 25 calls at Passenger port of Saint in 2015 and are the largest, simultaneously moored at the berths of the Port. The Princess Maria ferry of the St. Peter Line company berthed at the Port is the second during this year. The ship has arrived on 1st July at 9.30 am from Helsinki and tonight with new passengers onboard she will head back to Finland. Next call of the Princess Maria at the Port will take place on 3rd July, 2015.
Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 330 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay-side length – 2,171.06 m.
