  Net profit of Sea Trading Port of Nikolayev (Ukraine) up 30% to $8.8 mln in HI’2015

  

  In HI’2015, net profit of Nikolayev Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) surged 30% to $8.776 mln, the Port Authority says. In the reported period, the Port’s revenue totaled $12.683 mln.

  In January-June 2015, Sea Trading Port of Nikolayev handled over 6 mln t (+14%, year-on-year).

  Port of Nikolayev (Port of Mykolayiv) was founded in 1789. The port is located at the mouth of the Southern Buh River and has an access to the Black Sea through a 44-mile shipping canal. The port is a key transportation hub in Ukraine’s southern region. The port stevedore company is the state-owned company Sea Trading Port of Nikolayev specializing in handling general and bulk cargoes, grain, ore, metal, pipes, etc. The port has indoor and outdoor warehouses and operates 15 berths equipped with rail tracks.
