G6 Alliance announces service enhancement between Asia and Europe

One of the G6 Alliance operators Hapag-Lloyd said on Tuesday that in response to market demand, members of the Alliance announced the following Asia – Europe service enhancement to improve the connection between Asia and Scandinavia. This enhancement will also provide a better transit time from Antwerp to Asia.

Loop 7 service with additional calls to Gothenburg and Antwerp

The Loop 7 service will be extended by adding direct port calls to Gothenburg and Antwerp.
New port rotation: Qingdao – Shanghai (Yangshan) – Hong Kong – Yantian – Singapore – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Gdansk – Gothenburg – Antwerp – Southampton – Singapore – Yantian – Qingdao.
Effective voyage: Hyundai Drive HDV 005W29, ETA Qingdao 13 July 2015, ETA Gothenburg 27 August 2015 and ETA Antwerp 30 August 2015.

The G6 Alliance offers a variety of services between Asia and Europe, Asia and North America as well as on the Transatlantic covering all major port pairs with weekly sailings. The G6 Alliance members are: APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line.
