Hapag-Lloyd announces enhancement of West Africa Service Network

With reference to a previous announcement of July 16, 2015 regarding its enhanced and standalone West Africa Express (WAX), Hapag-Lloyd on Monday informed about latest addition to the Hapag-Lloyd West Africa Service Network.

Effective week 34, and in conjunction with the start of our new WAX service in week 33 in Antwerp, we will launch the West Africa Mediterranean Express (WMX), a complementary service between major Mediterranean transshipment ports and Lagos (TinCan).

Following the implementation of the complementary WMX, Hapag-Lloyd will have finalized the upgrade of our West African Network to an enhanced, standalone, prime product, offering you reliable as well as sustainable services which will meet your transport requirements.

The West Africa Mediterranean Express (WMX) will commence in week 34 at Algeciras.
