Huntington Ingalls Inc., Newport News, Virginia, is being awarded a $6,737,083 cost-plus-fixed-fee task order under previously awarded basic ordering agreement N00024-14-G-2114 for repair of the number two ship’s service turbine generator on USS Nimitz (CVN 68), the US DoD contract announcements said.
Huntington Ingalls Inc. will provide management, labor and support services. Work will be performed in Bremerton, Washington, and is expected to be completed by October 2015.
Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $6,737,083 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, Washington, is the contracting activity.
