  ‘Mir’ and ‘Akela’ left port Kristiansand (Norway) to participate in final race of The Tall Ships Races 2015 (photo)

  

  Tall ship Mir and yacht Akela left the port of Kristiansand (Norway) on July 28, 2015, to participate in the final race of The Tall Ships Races 2015, say press center of the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.

  Makarov University is a member of Sail Training International (STI), a not-for-profit organisation which arranges the Regatta. 
  
  Tall ship Mir currently hosts the practice trainers and cadets of Makarov University and Moscow State Academy of Water Transport, as well as three cadets of shipping company Boskalis participating in the event under the University’s programme for international cooperation.

  29 tall ships of А class from different countries take part in из The Tall Ships Races 2015.

  The Regatta will finish on August 1, 2015 in Aalborg (Denmark).
