OJSC Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center (FESRC) has announced a tender for the supply of crane equipment (nine cranes) for a heavy outfitting dockside of shipbuilding complex Zvezda. Total cost of the equipment is RUB 8.14 bln. According to FESRC, the tender consists of three lots. The first one supposes the supply of a 1,200-ton Goliath crane (time of delivery – one year and a half); the second – four 320-ton erection cranes (16 months); the third – four 100-ton luffing jib cranes (16 months).
Bidding deadline – August 17, 2015; evaluation of tender – August 29.
In pursuance of the Presidential Decree, a consortium was established by Rosneft and Gazprombank in the form of the closed joint stock company Modern Shipbuilding Technologies to create an industrial and shipbuilding cluster in the Far East on the bases of the Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center. The project on creation of shipbuilding complex Zvezda at Bolshoi Kamen (Primorsk Territory) supposed to become a core of the cluster is valued at RUB 110 bln.
