Net profit of Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk (Ukraine) exceeds plan by 20% to $11.7 mln
In HI’2015, net profit of Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk totaled $11.71 mln (UAH 254.7 mln), which is 20% more than the company’s plan.
According to the press center of Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk, in HI’2015 the port handled 8.8 mln t (0.4 mln t or +5.4% against the plan.
According to preliminary data for the 7-month period of 2015, net profit of Illichivsk Port Authority totaled UAH 422.8 mln (+3.5% against the plan).
As of 31.07.2015, 1,075 mln t of different cargoes were handled in the port’s water area (excluding the Fishing Port of Illichivsk LLC).
In July, 145 vessels and 10,172 wagons were handled in July at the berths of Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk.
SE Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk is a multipurpose international port, one of the largest ports in the Black Sea. The company operates specialized terminals and complexes capable of handling a wide range of cargoes – liquid bulk cargo, dry bulk cargo, general cargo. The port’s 29 berths can accommodate vessels of up to 100,000 tonnes in deadweight. Designed annual capacity of SCPI exceeds 30 mln tonnes.
The port’s container capacity is 1.15 mln TEUs. From 2007 the port can simultaneously handle 3 ocean-going 300-m long container carriers of over 5,000 TEUs in capacity.
