MSC extends BUC for North Europe - South Africa trade

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will apply Bunker Contribution to all cargo moved southbound from North Europe to South Africa as of September 2015, the liner operator said in a press release.

The current BUC level for September will be. USD $ 415 per TEU DV and USD $ 585 per TEU RF.

Geneva-headquartered Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) was founded in 1970. Now it is the world's second shipping line in terms of container vessel capacity. MSC's fleet, which operates in all major ports of the world, comprises 471 vessels and has a capacity of 2,435,000 TEUs (as of end-December 2014).
