On August 17, 2015, rescue boats BL-820 joined the fleet of RF Emergency Ministry’s State Inspectorate for Small Vessels in Sudak and Yevpatoriya (Crimea), the authority says.
Two new boats were delivered upon the order of Vladimir Puchkov, Minister of Emergency Situations, within the programme for technical upgrading of RF Emergency Ministry’s Chief Directorate for the Republic of Crimea.
The boats built under the state order from the Emergencies Ministry are rigid inflatable crafts with inflatable boards, that adds to the ship’s seaworthiness and maneuverability. She can keep stability at 6-point wave conditions. The boat’s speed exceeds 50 km/h which allows the rescue team reach the site of incident within the shortest time. The boat is fitted with state-of-the-art navigation equipment including FURUNO, GLONASS/GPS and other equipment.
As of today, the fleet of RF Emergency Ministry’s State Inspectorate for Small Vessels in Crimea numbers 8 crafts.
