Cargo clearance procedure simplified in Ukrainian seaports

Nature and Infrastructure Ministries of Ukraine have defined cooperative measures aimed at simplification of cargo clearance procedure in seaports, the Ministry of Nature says.

Supported by the State Border Service they will jointly use the Yantar [Amber] stationary radiation detection system in a continuous automatic mode for radiological monitoring in seaports without any vehicle or cargo delay.

Besides, State Environmental Inspectorate has confirmed the reduction of the list of documents required for cargo registration in seaports having excluded the environmental cargo declaration.

The above measures will let facilitate cargo clearance in seaports and adjust the procedure in accordance with European practice.
