Nikolai Maklygin appointed as head of Russian Railways’ Far East branch (photo)

President of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov introduced Nikolai Maklygin, new head of Far East Railway, in Khabarovsk, on October 11, 2015, the Company’s press center says.

Former head of the branch Mikhail Zaichenko who had been held the position from 2005, has retired.

Nikolai Maklygin was born on March 12, 1959. In 1990 he graduated from Irkutsk Institute of Railway Engineers with specialization in managing the process of transportation by rail transport.
Nikolai Maklygin started his career in 1976 as fitter at East-Siberia Railway. From 2004, he has been working as the first deputy head of East-Siberia Railway.
