RF Transport Ministry has developed draft amendments into sub-programme ‘Inland water transport’ of the Federal Targeted Programme ‘Development of Russia’s Transport System (2010-2020)’. According to the Federal Portal for Legal Information, the amendments provide for reallocation of resources in favour of the project on construction of Bagayevsky low head hydrosystem at Lower Don.
The project preliminary estimated at RUB 22 bln is to be implemented in 2016-2020. Allocations are supposed as follows: 2016 – RUB 600 mln; 2017 – RUB 800 mln; 2018 – RUB 7 bln 187.3 mln; 2019 – RUB 524.8 mln; 2020 – 12 bln 887.9 mln.
In view of the above estimations, the construction of Bagayevsky low head hydrosystem at the Don river is to be included into the sub-programme ‘Inland water transport’ of the Federal Targeted Programme ‘Development of Russia’s Transport System (2010-2020)’ with taking over of the resources from the sub-programme ‘Construction of the second branch of Nizhne-Svirsky hydrosystem’ RUB 12 bln 133.5 mln and ‘Renovation of service fleet’ (RUB 3 bln).
The resources needed for financing of the facilities in 2020 (RUB 6 bln 866.5 mln) are to be taken over from the sub-programme ‘Development of transport services export’ of the Federal Targeted Programme ‘Development of Russia’s Transport System (2010-2020)’.
