OJSC FESCO Confirms Compliance with International Standards

The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) has conducted an Integrated Control System (ICS) recertification audit for OJSC FESCO for compliance with the international ISO 9001 standard, as well as a supervisory audit for compliance with the international ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

The audit included the operations at the FESCO division in Moscow and the FESCO branch in Vladivostok.

The RMRS audit group visited the Kapitan Khlebnikov icebreaker and the Kapitan Sergievsky container ship.

The audit results revealed an outstanding level of safety management and OJSC FESCO’s compliance with the International Management Code for Safe Operation of Ships and the international standards of the Quality Management System, Safety Management System and Environmental Management System.

In accordance with the results of the external audit, a decision was made to extend OJSC FESCO’s certificates of compliance with international standards.

The annual external audit is aimed at consistently improving OJSC FESCO operations and ensuring quality service for clients.
