Throughput of Chinese ports up 1.8% to 4 bln t in HI’2016

In January-June 2016, the ports of China increased their throughput by 1.8%, year-on-year, to 4 bln t, says China’s National Bureau of Statistics. In the accounting period the ports of China handled 1.66 bln t of foreign cargo (+3.6%).

In June, throughput of Chinese ports was almost flat, year-on-year, at 680 mln t.
