Kerch Strait ferry line carried 330,000 passengers in the first week of August
The Kerch Strait ferry line between August 1 and 7 transported 74,000 cars, 9,000 trucks and 333,000 passengers, the Russian Transport Ministry said.
Passenger traffic on the line increased by 28% from the seven-month period in 2015, the number of transported passenger cars - by 27%, of trucks – by 65%.
In the reporting period 37,254 passengers traveled on the Kerch Strait line ferries using 'single' tickets, which is a 11-percent growth. There have been 358,621 single tickets issued (for the period Aug. 8 – Sept. 26, 2016), which is 16% more than a year earlier.
