Gazpromneft Marine Bunker, a bunkering business division of Gazprom Neft, has commenced bunker fuel supply for the vessels of STASCO (Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Limited) in the Black Sea region, the company said.
At Tuapse harbour the company's bunker vessel Gazpromneft Omsk has supplied 1,480 tonnes of heavy fuel oil to the 115DWT tanker Iasonas.
The bunker fuel supply is carried out under agreement with STASCO signed in February 2016. The agreement includes bunker fuel supply in Russia's North West region with an option for further cooperation expansion. The first fuel shipments began at the Port of Primorsk in March.
The next stage of cooperation included vetting inspection carried out by experts of Shell International Shipping on board of bunker vessel Gazpromneft Omsk perating in the Black Sea region. This the ship obtained approval to supply fuel ordered by STASCO.
Gazpromneft Marine Bunker, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, was established in 2007 to provide year-round supplies of marine fuel and oils for sea and river vessels. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker currently has eight regional offices and six subsidiary companies. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker operates in main sea ports of Russia (Nakhodka, Vladivostok, Vostochny, Posyet, Zarubino, Kozmino, Sakhalin, Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Kavkaz port, Taman, Sochi, St Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Primorsk, Kaliningrad, Baltiysk, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk) as well as river ports (St Petersburg, Azov, Yaroslavl, Sheksna, Nizhny Novgorod, Cherepovets, Kazan, Samara, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Olya port, Rostov-on-Don, Ust-Kut, Nizhnekamsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk) and international ports including Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia), and Constanta (Romania).
