Cargo throughput at Primorsky Krai, Russia based Port of Vladivostok between January and July of the year grew by 11.8% on the seven-month period 2015 to 8.07 million tonnes, the Authority of seaports of Primorye and the Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews.
Handling of dry cargo rose by 19.7% to 6,275 million tonnes, while oil products volume dropped by 9.1% to 1,8 million tonnes.
The Port of Vladivostok is a premier Russian seaport in the Far East region. The port encompasses 55 ha, over 14 km of waterfront featuring 17 berths with terminals for handling grain, containers, imported vehicles, as well as a passenger terminal.
