Steering the boat from the aft control room, the master can control work of the deck crew while deploying/removing floating aids to navigation, maneuvering and at the same time monitoring the surface with radar and AIS data displayed on the ECDS monitor.
The boat is equipped with a hydrographic system, including a single/multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonar, high-precision local positioning system (LPS) and tide gauge. Seismic survey equipment is controlled from the post located in the pilothouse.
