Throughput of the dedicated oil Port Primorsk between January and July 2016 jumped to 37,669,100 tonnes, or up 10% on the same period last year, the Port Authority statistics show.
Crude exports via the oil terminal jumped by 13% to 29,161,100 tonnes, while petroleum products volume remained at the level of last year of 8,507,900 tonnes.
Primorsky Trade Port (PTP) is Russia’s premier port in the country’s North-West region for crude and oil product exports. The port is located on the mainland of the Strait B'yerkezund Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea, 5 km south-east of Primorsk. The Primorsk Oil Terminal is the terminus of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
