In January-September 2016, total sales of bunker fuel at port Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to 289,600 t, down almost 3 times against 9M’15 (over 785,000 t), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews.
About 1/3 of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal).
In September, bunker sales from the port’s offshore terminals amounted to 9,200 t, at the port – about 26,000 t.
As compared with September 2015, bunker sales dropped more than 2 times to some 35,000 t (in 2015 - 83,000 t).
In the 8-month period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled some 211,000 t, fuel containing material – about 65,000 t with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume. Sales of diesel fuel have decreased month-to-month, from 1,742 t in August to 1,692 in September.
In January- September, the number of bunkering operations declined from 2,774 to 2,465.
