NCSP to invest RUB 9.6 bln in development of oil transshipment facilities at port Primorsk

Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) and Leningrad Region Administration signed an agreement on social and economic development. NCSP Group says the agreement was signed at the International Investment Forum “Sochi-2016”.

According to Sultan Batov, Director General of NCSP Group, RUB 9.6 will be invested to expand transshipment of liquid bulk cargo at port Primorsk by 4 mln t. With the completion of railway approaches transshipment capacity will be built up by additional 8 mln t per year.

NCSP Group is the largest port operator in Russia and the third-largest in Europe, in terms of cargo turnover. NCSP Group cargo turnover in 2015 totalled 139.7 million tonnes. Consolidated revenue to IFRS in 2014 totalled USD 956 million and EBITDA was USD 569 million. NCSP Group consolidates the following companies: PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, LLC Primorsk Trade Port, JSC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, OJSC Novorossiysk Ship Repair Yard, OJSC NCSP Fleet, JSC NLE, OJSC IPP, Baltic Stevedore Company LLC, and JSC SFP.
