Small and Medium Business Administration(SMBA) and Busan Port Authority cooperate in order to strengthen competitiveness of exports for local small and medium enterprises.
The two organizations inked the MOU on the 23rd to reduce logistics costs for enterprises.
Small and medium enterprises that have low efficiency in logistics due to the lack of skilled manpower and information can use the internet service to cut down their logistics costs.
When requesting support for logistics services, the local SME can receive shipping schedules, vessel information, and terminal entry & departure information through the website. In addition, logistics companies can secure new clients and cargoes.
A SMBA official stated “The global export environment has continuously worsened due to cut throat competition with China and the low Yen. This MOU will be a great opportunity to enhance global competitiveness by lowering the price competitiveness of SMEs.”
