In January-September 2016, port Kavkaz handled 22,914,000 t (+20%, year-on-year), Harbour Master of port Kavkaz Yevgeny Tuzinkevich told IAA PortNews.
Off-harbour transshipment complex handled 8,280,000 t of export cargo (-7%, year-on-year).
Transshipment of oil products increased by 62% to 10,290,000 t, grain – by 25% to 3,511,000 t, sulphur and mineral fertilizers – by 114% to 2,527,000 t. Transshipment of LPG – down 13.5% to 128,000 t.
Exports from port Kavkaz fell by 52% to 312,000 t, imports – 4.6 times to 71,000 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo surged by 57% to 13,891,000 t.
Passenger turnover climbed by 27% to 5,164,974 passengers.
Bunker sales at the port declined by 1% to 360,000 t.
The number of calls increased by 35% to 21,161 calls.
