In January-September 2016, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 36.01 mln t of cargo (-7%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 33% to 4.78 млн mln t, dry bulk cargo – by 17% to 45.53 mln t, general cargo – up 4% to 9.33 mln t.
Transshipment of dry loose cargo increased 2.1 times, year-on-year, to 160,800 t.
The port’s container throughput increased by 0.7% to 1,302,835 TEUs.
In 2015, the port handled 51.51 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.71 mln TEUs.
